A contemporary wholefoods café in Bali

# Grown close,
cooked simply

We cook whole foods from local growers and let each ingredient taste of where it came from.

We believe good food comes from
healthy land, local hands and simple
cooking. We work with Balinese farmers
and producers to bring the island's
incredible ingredients to your table,
just as they are meant to be.

## Why we cook whole food

Whole food is food you can recognise: fruit, vegetables, grains, seeds, herbs and coconut, as close as possible to the way they were grown. We start there because the best flavour is already in the ingredient. Our job is not to cover it up.

So the cooking stays light. We roast, toast, press and season with care, and then we stop. A ripe fruit, a handful of fresh herbs, a bowl of good grains: nothing on the plate needs hiding, and the produce leads.

- Whole ingredients, kept close to how they were grown.
- Simple cooking that lets each one taste of where it came from.
- Plates built around what is fresh, not what is fashionable.

## From Bali to the bowl

Locally sourced ingredients

We source from local farms, gardens and coastal
producers who care for the land as deeply as we do.
By working close to home, we get the freshest
ingredients, support our community and celebrate
the incredible abundance of this island.

Buying close to home means food travels a short way from the ground to your table. It arrives fresher, it tastes of Bali, and the money we spend stays with the people who grow it.

It also means we know the hands behind what we cook. When a grower tells us something is at its best, we listen, and that conversation shapes the plate.

## Everything starts on the island

Our ingredients are sourced locally, so the menu follows what the island has to give.

When a harvest changes, the plate changes with it. Fruit for the granola and the juices shifts through the year, greens and herbs come and go, and the seasonal bowl is built from what is fresh from our farmers this week.

That is why the seasonal bowl is always worth asking about, and why a favourite may look a little different from one visit to the next.
